A FRENCH GILT BRONZE AND MARBLE FIGURAL GROUP IN THE MANNER OF ETIENNE-MAURICE FALCONET (French 1716-1791) FRENCH, MID 19TH CENTURY, the pyramidal form composition with a draped figure of Cupid wearing a quiver above a drum form pedestal with two love birds, with classically draped figures of women, one on bent knee with a dog and one seated holding a butterfly at her breast, on stepped oval base with sphere and scattered musical trophies, raised on white marble shaped plinth, signed to the back "FALCONNET" (sic). Height: 16 3/4" Width: 18 1/4" Depth: 13 3/8"
