A BELLE ÉPOQUE STYLE GILT BRASS FOUR LIGHT CORBEILLE CHANDELIER, MODERN, BY AL-FAROUK, PROBABLY JORDANIAN, in the French Empire taste, the swirling foliate and basket weave relief canopy over a berry sprig and leafy foliate flowering urn crown, with a foliate leaf encrusted socle support issuing four bellflower decorated arms, leading to scrolled leaf and berry terminals on block and turned supports with berry knobs and suspended acorn finials, joining a pierced laurel leaf and berry base mounted with pierced palmette hand fans decorated with beribboned flower bloom festoons, encircling a faceted round bead encrusted bowl, ending in a tapered relief leafy front, lobed finial terminating in a grape bunch cluster. There are some areas with mild patina noted intemittently throughout, the porcelain liners have a few mild cracks, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
