A CHINESE ARCHAISTIC STYLE HANGING BRONZE BELL ON A RETICULATED HARDWOOD STAND, the domed circular bell with sides centering a continuous band of stylized running qilons cast in shallow relief above a waved base rim, surmounted by a two headed serpent form flat loop, height: 6", diameter: 4"; suspended from a hardwood spread winged smiling bat within a pierced arch frame of stepped fretwork, interspersed with florets and a scrolling ruyi crest, held aloft by "S" form supports on arched scrolling skids, joined by a similarly detailed stretcher, height: 16 1/4", width: 12", depth: 5 1/4".
