A CHINESE ARCHAISTIC STYLE HANGING BRONZE BELL ON A RETICULATED HARDWOOD STAND, the verdis gris auricular form bell with sides of conforming panels enclosing rows of conical spikes above flat discs, flanking archaistic character marks in shallow relief, beneath a flat top with a stylized qilons cast loop, height: 7", width: 6 1/2", depth: 3 1/2"; suspended from a carved hardwood arched stand of pierced blossoming peony, height: 15 3/8", width: 14 1/2", depth: 4 1/2".
- Condition: The bell is in good condition, with normal surface buildup and small scratches; the heavily carved stand has a few small repaired areas, surface buildup and normal joint separation splits.
