A CHINESE POLYCHROME PAINTED WOOD FIGURE OF GUANYIN, PROBABLY SECOND HALF 20TH CENTURY, in Ming Dynasty style and sculpted in a standing position while wearing an elaborate diadem above a serene expression, with traditional jewels and long robes, on a conforming stylized base. Height: 19 3/4"
- Condition: Fair condition, wood shrinkage cracks, surface buildup throughout, areas of paint flaking, chips, surface marks and scratches, gesso loss on upper left side of back.
