A FEDERAL MAHOGANY CHILD'S CHEST OF DRAWERS, POSSIBLY PENNSYLVANIA, EARLY 19TH CENTURY, the rectangular top above two short drawers and three graduated long drawers, with each centering later oval brass handled hardware, over a scalloped apron and raised on shaped block feet. Height: 24 1/2" Width: 26" Depth: 12 1/4" Provenance: Top right drawer interior has rectangular label, "Collection of / John E. du Pont / no. 1104."
- Condition: Good condition for furniture of this age, use and materials, with expected surface marks and small scratches throughout, old repairs, age cracks. Brass hardware is later.
