Whiting sterling silver jelly server in the "Forget-me-not" pattern, New York, New York, circa 1895, marked "W (in circle with rays) STERLING;" a Gorham Mfg. Co. sterling silver teaspoon in the "Lancaster" pattern, Providence, Rhode Island, circa 1897-1898, inscribed to the front of the bowl "1873, Chapin Home, 1898," marked (lion, anchor) "G, STERLING, H;" and a pair of Whiting Mfg. Co. sterling silver sugar tongs in the "Pompadour" pattern, New York, New York, circa 1898, marked "W (with griffin), STERLING, PATENT 1898;" total approximate silver weight: 18.59 troy ounces.

  • Condition: All pieces are in overall fair to good used condition, with minor surface rubbing, scratching, and wear to gilt surfaces commensurate with age and use; with the following observed condition issues: minor repaired denting to the "Cupid" pattern ladle's bowl and faint traces of gilding to the same; "Waverly" pattern cream ladle exhibits an old repair at the junction of the bowl and stem, and minor repaired denting to the bowl.
