A JACOBEAN STYLE CARVED OAK CUPBOARD, PROBABLY ENGLISH, LAST QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, the rectangular top over a molded edge above an applied canted dentil molded frieze, over a single cupboard door with a scrolling leaf arched inset panel centering a carved patera within an incised foliate carved diamond, surrounded by relief carved foliate scrolls above a floret medallion guilloché detail, on a molded base on cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet. Height: 48 1/2" Width: 28 1/4" Depth: 12 1/2"

Condition:
There are some mild expected dents and surface scratches throughout, some losses to the applied dentil molding, one noted old wood fill repair near lock on door, the hardware has been replaced, and the original lock is now lacking, otherwise in sturdy very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
