A LARGE JAPANESE IMARI PETAL RIMMED PORCELAIN CHARGER, MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912), painted in traditional colors and centering a circular reserve with an arched handle above a flower filled basket, within a blue diapered alternating iron red ring with gilt floral decoration, enclosed by broad scalloped borders of shaped reserves with long tailed phoenix amidst stylized ferns and foliage alternating shaped panels of blossoming stems. Diameter: 18 1/2"
- Condition: Good condition, gilding worn on rim and areas throughout, reverse fitted with thick bronze wire wall hanging mount.
