A LARGE PAIR OF LOUIS XVI STYLE GILT BRONZE MOUNTED VERDE ANTICO MARBLE LIDDED VASES, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each of baluster form with a circular flaring neck flanked by scrolling acanthus cast mounts suspending tied drapery swags, centering a bell flower and bead bronze band in deep relief surmounted by a domed lid with a fruiting finial, raised on a conforming beaded guilloché ringed socle and rectangular plinth enclosing oval florets within tapering bell flower stems in relief. Height: 24 1/4" Diameter: 9 1/2"
