A LIMOGE/FABERGÉ MUSICAL EGG AND A VIVIAN ALEXANDER EGG MINAUDIERE, FRANCE AND LOUISIANA, MODERN, on a porcelain blue ground with gilt and polychrome transfer with four oval medallions centering Fabergé style eggs, the lid opening to a gilt washed interior centering a rotating swan, on a gilt brass tripodal footed base, the interior incised Fabergé, no 434, with hallmarks, and marked at base: Limoges; the Vivian Alexander blue enameled minaudiere surmounted by a clear faceted ball finial over sides mounted with small round and marquis cut crystals, on scrolled feet, the base signed in monogram, with incised signature at hinge, and the interior marked with number 97014, height: 6 1/4", diameter: 3 1/2".

Condition:
There is some minor wear to the surfaces on the interior of the Fabergé example, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
