A LOUIS XV STYLE CARVED ROSEWOOD AND PORTOR DE PYRÉNÉES MARBLE TURTLE TOP CENTER TABLE, LAST HALF 19TH CENTURY, PROBABLY AMERICAN, the highly figured charcoal and gold shaped marble top with a molded edge, over a wide serpentine skirt, on scrolled and molded cabriole legs raised on brass casters, joined by an "X" form raised stretcher centering a circular lobed finial. Condition:
There is some expected wear to the polished surface of the marble near the center and one side, some expected surface scratches, occasional minor chips, and an apparent repair at one corner. The base has some minor expected surface scratches and scuffs, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
