A NAPOLEON III STYLE GILT BRASS MOUNTED BOULLE INLAID BLACK LACQUERED PARLOR CABINET, PROBABLY EGYPTIAN, MODERN, the rectangular relief cabochon and flower bloom brass trimmed top over trapezoidal cavetto brass boulle and faux tortoise shell inlay above an oval flower medallion guilloché ormolu mounted frieze, over a single door centering an oval boulle and faux tortoiseshell inlaid medallion framed by ormolu mounts and like inlaid foliate corners, flanked by brass string inlaid sides centering ormolu Minerva masks and brass string inlaid stiles, leading to square legs with ormolu trim on tapered turned French toes, joined by a rectangular shaped apron with a central foliate flourish ormolu mount. Condition:
There are some mild chips to the lacquer paint occassionally throughout and some minor expected surface wear. The brass has some patina noted throughout, otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
