A PAIR OF CHINESE SLIP GLAZED CERAMIC COLUMNAR LAMPS, MOLDED SQUARE FORM MARKS, 20TH CENTURY, each of elongated rectangular form and sides covered in a bone and honey colored slip, streaking in areas revealing aubergine toned colors, surmounted by a flat top enclosing a molded square form character mark seal within conforming scrolling tailed qilons flanking the pearl, above a similarly molded base mark, drilled and mounted for electricity on a block form acrylic base, height: 15 5/8", width: 4 1/8", depth: 4 1/8".
- Condition: Good condition, with consistent crazing throughout, small nicks, normal surface marks and tiny scratches, surface buildup, one with surface glaze restoration spot, each having drilled holes on each end that partly efface the molded square form marks. Dimensions with lamp mounts, height: 16 5/8", width: 5 5/8", depth: 5 5/8". Simpson Galleries strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
