Unfortunately by 1828 financial issues forced him to file for bankruptcy but this downturn was short lived. His manager Albert Roux garnered shares in the company and in less than one year was able to reopen the doors. This allowed Vincenti to seek advice on important production methods which combined with Roux's management led to the winning of a silver medal in 1834. Sadly, Vincenti passed in 1833 but the company under Roux's ownership went on to win more awards until finally closing its' doors in 1923.
