A RENAISSANCE REVIVAL CARVED WOOD SIDE TABLE, POSSIBLY ITALIAN, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the rectangular top with canted corners within molded and leaf tip detailed trim above a single drawer centering a beastly mask handle flanked by gadrooned decoration and lion's mask corners, raised on paired tapering circular legs with foliate capitals and ending in compressed bun bases, on stylized scaly dolphin head skids joined by a scalloped plank form stretcher enclosing a circular floret within leaf tip trim. Height: 28 3/4" Width: 25 3/4" Depth: 19 1/2"
- Condition: Good condition for furniture of this age, use, and materials, with normal surface marks and scratches throughout, age cracks, some small chips, formerly with bronze ring suspended from each corner lion mask and now lacking three, missing small turned finial between right side foliate capitals of legs.
