A RENAISSANCE REVIVAL STERLING SILVER REPOUSSE EWER, LONDON, DATE LETTERED "H," POSSIBLY 19TH CENTURY, of baluster form with a conforming neck centering bands of scrolling rinceaux and blossoming stems, bearing hallmarks, "HB," lion passant, leopard's head, date lettered "h" for 1783, above sides with vertical rows of flowering foliage enclosing spread winged parrots and trumpeting cherubs framing a blank cartouche flanked by a shaped holloware handle with molded lion's mask thumb piece, opposite a stylized open mouthed dolphin mask spout, surmounted by a hinged dome lid with similar decoration centering a vasiform finial, interior lid rim bearing hallmarks, ""HB," lion passant, leopard's head, date lettered "H" for 1783," approximate total weight, 84.5833 troy oz.
