A VIETNAMESE/ANNAMESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN VASE, SHIPWRECK CARGO ARTIFACTS, POSSIBLY 15TH/16TH CENTURIES, of double gourd form with the top bulbous knob centering crossed tusks within stylized pearl decoration and alternation ribbon-tied auspicious vessels, above a cylindrical neck on a flat shoulder of lotus petal banding, above a bulbous body enclosing spread winged birds alongside delicate scrolling stems with a lotus petal detailed base enclosing an unglazed underside. With crackle glaze throughout, surface buildup and some staining throughout, marine encrustations, marks and scratches, slightly matte surface due to buildup as well as marine environment exposure.
