AN ASSEMBLED SET OF SIX LOUIS XIII STYLE CARVED WALNUT DINING CHAIRS, FIRST HALF 19TH CENTURY AND AFTER, PROBABLY FRANCE, the arched rectangular upholstered backs over square upholstered seats, on serpentine legs ending in scroll feet, joined by serpentine "H" form stretchers, in 17th century continental needlepoint fragment and gold velvet upholstery with silk tassel fringe and nail head trim. Condition:
The upholstery has heavy wear and rubbed areas with fading to the dye. The bases of the chairs with various repairs, glue residue and exposure to woodworm throughout. Overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
