Gregoire," height: 16", turning on a Louis XVI Style gilt bronze mounted Griotte marble mantle clock, centering a ribbon tied bow form mount above a circular hinged convex glass door within an engine turned bronze bezel, opening to a white enameled dial with black Roman chapters and reticulated gilt metal hands over twin key escapements, reversing to a circular gilt metal door opening to the brass clock mechanism stamped "3 1 8 9," above the circular "JAPY FRERES MEDAILLE D'HONNEUR" pastille, enclosed by a circular drum form case with a fluted cavetto flanked by scrolling acanthus cast brackets, raised on stylized toupie feet, total height: 23".
