    DEAR BUDDY -
    PLS. EXCUSE THE EXPENSIVE STATIONARY
YOUR PAINTING - ACCORDING TO MY OLD DOG-EARED "JOURNAL" ONLY 44 YEARS OLD:
    1) PAINTED MAY '64
    2) BOUGHT FROM MY ART DEALER MEREDITH LONG BY WILL FARRISH WHO SEEMS TO HAVE CHANGED HIS MIND, TURNING IT BACK TO MEREDITH. I WOULD GUESS THAT JACK PENCE BOUGHT IT FROM MEREDITH LONG GALLERY -
    3) SELLING PRICE WAS 350.00 FOR ITS SIZE WHICH WAS (IS) 22X30.
    4) THE SHOOTER WAS BASED ON BOB BRISTER WHO DIED JUNE OF '05 FROM PANCREATIC CANCER.
    6) FROM THE TITLE I BELIEVE IT WAS AT GREATER HOUSTON GUN CLUB. ( NOT AESTHETIC BACKGROUND)
    7) PRICE?? ….. WHEN I RETIRED IN '94 RETAIL PRICE ON A 22X30 WAS TEN THOUSAND. I KNOW OF SALES IN THE SECONDARY MARKET THE PAST FEW YEARS OF 22X30'S GOING FOR THIRTY THOUSAND .. ONE OR TWO OVER THAT. CRAZY! WHICH DOESN'T MEAN YOURS IS LOOKING AT 30 GRAND
I'VE DONE PICTURES I WAS PLEASED WITH AT THE TIME THAT TURNED OUT TO BE DOGS IN THE MARKET - OTHERS, "RUN OF THE MILL" THAT TURNED INTO "BARN-BURNERS" GO FIGGER.
MEREDITH LONG GALLERY IN HOUSTON MIGHT BE ABLE TO COME UP WITH SOME FIGURE, "INFORMATION" CAN GIVE YOU THEIR NUMBER.
I'M JUST AFRAID I'M NOT QUALIFIED TO COME UP WITH A PRICE.
WILL BE MOVING TO BRISTOL, TN. AROUND OCTOBER 1 - MY OLD HOMETOWN. AM BUILDING A "GRANNY FLAT" IN MY OTHER DAUGHTER'S BACK YARD THERE.
HOPE YOU CONTINUE HEALTHY WITH LOTS OF GOOD HUNTING & FISHING TRIPS.
    REGARDS - JACK
