Elstrack) title page, followed by letter press title page with engraved portrait (by S. Pass,) followed by, "The Preface" and "Contents of the Chapters...," Chronological table and Index at end, 669 pages not inclusive of title pages, blank pages as well as Preface, Chronological table, and Index, includes six two page maps, two genealogical charts. - Condition: Good condition considering its age, use and materials, with the blond leather spine exhibiting normal dryness, and surface wear, leather bound areas and boards, possibly of later date with surface dents and marks, worn edges, gilt tooling depleted on boards, marbleized interior board and pages in good condition with nice strong colors, title page restored to approximately 1/8th outside margin line, normal wear of page edges with some browning more to edge, scattered liquid markings, some old bottled ink notes and markings throughout, some eared corners, page 487 small torn hole approximately dime size towards top right of page, scattered small torn holes through to page 500, some old creases and torn corners throughout.
