A PAIR OF CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE FIGURES OF GUANYIN, IMPRESSED TRIANGULAR CHARACTER MARK STAMP, 20TH CENTURY, each with an elaborate double chignon hairstyle before an Amitabha Buddha detailed diadem, above a serene expression flanked by long pendulous ears and knotted locks of wavy hair, over an elaborate jeweled necklace and long flowing robes with one arm raised and the other holding a ruyi scepter or a long stemmed lotus blossom, while seated on a Buddhistic lion or elephant and raised on a conforming stylized rockwork base pierced for incense stick offerings. - Condition: Good shape, like new, Guanyin seated on Buddhistic lion is lacking two central fingers of her right hand, underside has surface marks, and some buildup, Simpson Galleries strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
